You seem to forget the Iraq resolution could not have passed without the democrat votes it got in favor of it.
Landing troops on Kharg island is a nightmare scenario. They are within regular artillery tube range of the coast, much less missiles and drones, and It's a small flat coral outcrop with no cover and a huge store of volatiles. Any troops landed there will be a write-off.
It would also spike oil prices through the roof which is the exact opposite of what they want to do.

There really is no reason for a ground war. The US should engage in use of aerial warfare to wreck Iran's economic infrastructure from end to end.
Let's see if Iran has any sort of air defense against mass, cheap, drone attacks on their industry, electrical grid, and transportation systems when backed by conventional air power.

No, doing nothing is. Eventually, Iran left to their devices WILL get nuclear weapons. They want them and have the means to build them given time to do it.
Once they have nuclear weapons, it isn't the threat of their use on Israel that's the issue. Israel can defend themselves and Iran starting a regional nuclear war buys them nothing politically.
What nukes do give them is an ability to close the Strait of Hormuz or control it permanently. This gives them regional control over the Persian sea and they could become a pirate state demanding say $1 million per passage from any commercial ship wanting to enter or leave. Sure, over time, alternatives would happen, but shipping will still need to move through the strait.
I get tired of taking this lie seriously.....if you believe this then it is another of many places where you have no idea of what reality looks like.

Iran has openly admitted to having stockpiles of 60% enriched uranium. Why do they have that? What purpose does having that serve them?
Before you were claiming that the Iranian people had overthrown the government, and now you want to bomb Iran to overthrow their government? Your claims are self contradictory.
