Iran can sign any deal Trump throws at them. Trump showed that any deal can be changed or ignored if he feels like it. They have the same rights. Just sign it and go on their merry way. Trump has destroyed tariff deals, nuclear deals, peace pacts and any other international deals. I hope when he is gone, other nations will trust us. You sure cannot trust Trump.

The US admits to 7 refueling planes being destroyed. Iran claims they destroyed 20 refuelers. Let's split that in half and say 14 refueling planes have been destroyed at $100 million and 3 crew members each. Who's paying to keep throwing more money at a war to steal Iran's oil?

Christians refuse to accept the fact that the world is looking to China and Russia to help them move into the 21st century. No one wants to do business with the US and israel.

i would not even say Iran is trying to create a sovereign crisis although they will gladly push it along, to the degree they can.

It is Trump causing it. Just as America realized how vulnerable they were to China shutting off rare earth and semi conductors manufacturing and that made the US shift its policy on those, we now have the entire world, lead by CHina, but Canada and the EU too, shifting as much as they can from buying US debt and using the US dollar due to not trusting the US with too much leverage over them. Same for military equipment where Canada is now buying its next generation equipment increasingly from Europe, when the US got it all prior. And the EU is looking only internal.

Trump is causing every country to look at where they had too much reliance on the US and to divest and find alternatives. This is the big long term harm, here.

That is how Empirers truly fall, not in one big dip but over the coming decades.

Meanwhile China is pushing the narrative that 'we are the trusted partner you can sign deals with and that will be honored', and what CHina demands is that other countries stay out of what they call their 'local political sphere', or 'sphere of influence'. Not an easy thing for most other countries to do, but it may be a better offer than the one they perceive Trump and America represent.

Trump is at most a cog in the machine.....but the people who run things might well be trying to cause economic collapse as well as famine as a part of the program to enslave us and world domination.

Human depopulation might well also be a goal.

I just finished listening to a podcast in which two friends were talking about how everybody wins if the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz is wrapped up. I seem to stand alone, but I do not think that is necessarily in Iran's interest even if they are suffering. If I were in charge of Iran, I would try to make sure that the world suffers enough from this fiasco that after it resolves—it will—the world leaders agree that we can NEVER let that happen again. Iran wins if the next time somebody decides they are going to attack Iran—we all know there could be a next time—the world leaders yell in unison, "Stop!". Mitigating suffering from this skirmish increases the odds of the next skirmish being supported. It is a MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) game theory model. I also think the Iranians are not a bunch of wimps. Both seem obvious to me, but what do I know. NB-The em dashes are mine—I love those little bastards—not AI's.

America is protecting China's oil supply, and they need it. STFU.
Right now China has gas lines and gas rationing. Well, that may be about over by now, but about a month ago..

Never got the wisdom of the crowd on a strawberry patch going through 2 90 degree days.

My gut says to buy and immediately refrigerate..... and my gut is at least as good as Trump our Benevolent Leaders is.
