Sailors on USS Lincoln outside Iran are exhausted and suffering from poor morale on ship, families warn

Navy morale is a long running well known problem. Over work and poor training is a lot of it, but also that for a couple of decades the wrong officers have been picked for advancement. There have also been many questionable firings of commanders. Navy culture has long been under attack from DEI types at the Pentagon.
You are referring to the transsexuals Biden tried to make the whole military accept. And it failed. Miserably. Pipe down when it comes to rational military actions. You and all the left have no bearing to speak to it.

Its a gotdamn shame it took the women/wives of these sailors to bring attention to whats going on aboard the USS Lincoln. The Admirals and Captains should have brought attention to this matter rather than these women. I am ashamed of our military and how these men of leadership cowered and bow to Pete and Donald because they're all are too afraid of losing their gotdamn pensions and job titles, they make me sick to my stomach. I served the Navy for 10 years and what this administration had done to our military is deplorable and disgusting!! Prayers to my fellow sailors and God be with you, always. Our soldiers should be first always!!

The people running the NAVY knew many months ago that running the crew this hard as they did badly on basic resupply was going to be a problem.....they did not give a fuck.

The group that really suffers from prolonged sea periods on a carrier are the flight deck crew. The air wing and flight deck crew are almost entirely NOT part of the ship's company. They are a tenant command aboard to operate and maintain the aircraft. In port, they go ashore with their squadrons for the most part leaving most of the 03 deck (right below the flight deck) berthing empty.

The ship's company on the other hand are onboard regardless. The difference is, the ship's company has assigned jobs and get regular hours and watch rotation so being at sea isn't much different from being in port for them.

For the flight deck crew and squadrons, they have to work from call to flight quarters until that is secured each day. That could be 16 to 20 hours every day 7 days a week. The only break they might get is during an unrep period. Even then, a lot of the junior enlisted might be called on to handle stores so they don't get a break.

If you are junior, and you have one of the really shitty flight deck jobs like being a brown or purple shirt, you really just get fucked over for weeks at a time.
