So you're picking up the gauntlet for your equally brain dead, bigoted buddy. Let's see how you fair.
1. The conversation is about reparations for AMERCANS, you dimbulb. No "scheme" involved, as legal precedent has been established for such in America ..... former slave owners receiving reparations for the lost of their "property" (aka slaves) after the Civil War. Look it up, genius. And when dopes like you start doing for Ukraine what you propose for me to do in Africa, then you can talk.
2. Fascinating how there is no record in the chronology of the posts that in any way, shape or form verifies your accusation. If so, give the link or copy and paste. If not, you're a liar. Oh, and when you complain about the folk who are STILL bitching about the Civil War, then you can talk. But guess what, slaves didn't declare war on the Confederacy. They were the victims whose labor help build some prosperous businesses and corporations that still exist today. So, if the slave owners, then got compensation for losing slaves after the Civil War, the descendants of slaves owned by corporations that are prosperous today by that labor sure as hell deserve some.
3. Most of this sentence is projection, but please explain how my advocacy for a legal path for reparations for the descendants of American slavery props up any slavery in Africa and Asia. The reading audience awaits with bated breath!
Would he have to know who his father was to trace his lineage back to the pre-Civil War era?

That varies by tribe and the circumstances they ended up on a res from.
Some tribes did get screwed. Others deserved what they got and possibly more. Each one is a different case depending on the tribal culture.

Newsflash, gumby .... Jim Crow, the directed descendant of chattel slavery didn't end until 1968. There's a WHOLE LOTTA FOLKS who survived/endured that crap, don't cha know.
And the legal course for reparations involves INDIVIDUAL CORPORATIONS, BUSINESSES, AND SOME INDIVIDUAL STATE AGENCIES. NOT the average tax payer. Got that gumby?

Actually, you haven't done anything of the sort. Your "documentation" in this thread is thinner and less supported than wet single-ply toilet paper.
Here's the "Chronology" of that so far:
Post 36: You put in a video made by the BBC that is mostly anecdote and totally opinion of one woman.
Posts 154, 159, and 161 repeat use of that video without discussion.
Post 318 links to a story about a Catholic diocese paying reparations to 1921 Tulsa race massacre survivors. This is totally irrelevant to the thread and actually proves the opposite of your argument in that they were paying out to those directly harmed, not some unspecified ancestors generations removed.
Post 332 links to a Senate document paying slave owners for their loss of property during the Civil War in DC and areas of the North where slavery existed due to emancipation. That is, the owners lost property--of a sort--and were compensated.
That's it. That's all you've provided. Everything else you've posted has been some sort of screed, rant, insult, or ad hominem. You have proved nothing. You haven't given any solid evidence to support your argument--that is when you aren't simply insulting other posters.

More than 400,000 white men gave their lives to free black slaves in America. But you won't even lift your voice to help black slaves in Africa.
