Miami plane crash latest

A day ago, @Diogenes had a picture of the pilot as a Black woman dancing in a cockpit without a pilots seat for some reason, so I do not want to take the more recent claims as accurate. But for the sake of argument we will for a minute.

Pilots like to work as close to the 1,000 hour yearly limit as they can. They would normally get 800 to 900 flight hours per year, and 700 is considered the minimum for a full time pilot. If a 55 year old pilot has 7,000 hours, he has about 10 years of flying experience. We would expect a 55 year old to have closer to 30 years of flying experience.

The number could be made up, or wrong. Maybe he came to flying later in life. Maybe he has had long stretches of unemployment. Maybe... Whatever.

Link up.

But you will, anyway, right?

Is that so?

Have you tried looking it up?

Ya we dont know.....but one thing I want to know is why is a 55 yo pilot with 7000+ hours reclassifying airplane types and hiring on to a cut rate cargo outfit with a shitty reputation in a pilot shortage?

Makes me want to know more about his history.

.
