Antisemitism has moved from the right to the left in the US − and falls back on long‑standing stereotypes

I'm not sure if you're quoting someone here to make a point, or if you believe all of that, but "I have been hearing" and "I recently heard someone say" are quite silly as far as standards go.

If you want to understand the Arab-Israeli war you need to understand:
  • what life was like under 600 years of Ottoman rule
  • what the G Mufti was doing with Hitler doing WWII
  • what really happened during partition in Israel AND Pakistan, how many people were killed in Pakistan in 1947, just for context
  • how differently muslims reacted to those things in the previous point
  • what Israel's goals are, and what the openly stated goals of Hamas, the PLO/Fatah, and the IRGC are
  • you need to have a meaningful understanding of the rules of war
  • how many peace deals the Israelis have offered and what they gave, or at least offered
  • what has happened every single time the Palestinians have had time to accumulate weapons
  • exactly what the Palestinians have done with the many, many billions of dollars in aid they have received, vs the astounding potential of the Gazan region, geographically
  • how different the level of joy is when each side kills in that war
  • and you need to be able to understand how palestinian propaganda works, and how it relies on their own dead children
The more you know about the Arab-Israeli war, the more you side with Israel, unless you're bigoted against Jews.
No....what I do is point to what this highly educated being who is immune to the brainwashings of our abusers sees...as a public service.

NYC...not exactly a hotbed of "right wing" activity...

Anti-Jewish hate crimes in New York grow even as violent crime across the city decreases

Mayor Mamdani’s office did not respond to a request for comment on allegations that his rhetoric has contributed to antisemitism.

Yeah, call me when you see a group of "lestists" with torches chanting "the jew shall not replace us".

Until then you kid own this.
How about thousands of them blocking/attacking Jewish students in universities nationwide, chanting the genocidal terrorist mantra, "From the river to the sea..."?

But that image, especially Columbia’s encampment, was what portrayed as such.

And that is not true, I’m not battling anything, I just didn’t think what is being portrayed as antisemitism was as grave as characterized
  • DePaul University (Chicago, IL): Two Jewish students, Max Long and Michael Kaminsky, were punched and beaten by masked men outside the student center while tabling and sharing pro-Israel views. The attackers hurled antisemitic slurs, resulting in severe injuries including a fractured wrist and a concussion. Perpetrators were subsequently identified, prosecuted, and pleaded guilty to hate crime and battery charges. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • UCLA (Los Angeles, CA): Jewish and Israeli students faced physical blockades, harassment, and assaults with pepper spray and blunt objects during intense campus encampment protests, prompting major legal action regarding campus safety and civil rights. [1]
  • General Campus Climate: Organizations like Hillel International and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) report historic highs in antisemitic harassment, vandalism, and physical intimidation targeting Jewish youth across American higher education.

Jewish and Israeli students at Columbia University faced widespread verbal harassment, physical assaults, and a hostile campus climate following the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks in Israel. Official reports and federal investigations documented severe student targeting, leading to major institutional fallout. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Documented Incidents and Findings
    • Physical and Verbal Attacks: Reports detailed instances where Jewish students were spat on, pushed, chased near dorms, and punched or physically blocked while wearing religious identifiers like a kippah. [1, 2]
    • Task Force Reports: Columbia's Task Force on Antisemitism released findings showing a pervasive pattern of severe social ostracization, explicit death threats, and classroom hostility. [1, 2]
    • Federal Civil Rights Violations: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and federal agencies found that Columbia University violated civil rights law by displaying deliberate indifference to a hostile environment and failing to enforce campus safety and anti-harassment rule

Is there a problem with violent bigotry against Jews in America for Israel's actions in Gaza? I think there is.

And I don't think that Israel's actions in Gaza are unwarranted or extreme given the fact that the threat that they face is annihilation.

And who hates Jews more for 'just being Jewish' than Mamdani and his vile pig of a wife? Who hates Jews more than Omar? More than Jefferies? More than Tlaib? More than the average muslim-American? More than the KKK, which the Dems started themselves...?

Can you name a prominent, widely accepted conservative that hates Jews? Because I can't name one.

I don't doubt that there are a lot of people who vote conservative who hate Jews for their own reasons, but it's not a mainstream or even acceptable belief among conservatives that Jews are bad people, while extreme anti-Semitism is very popular in the Democrat party.
So people protesting against Israel’s actions in Gaza was antisemitism?

And Mamdani nor any of the others ever invited recognized Holocaust deniers over for diner at their home now did they (https://www.politico.com/news/2022/11/25/trump-white-nationalist-nick-fuentes-kanye-00070825)

Mamdani never claimed Nazis treated Jews with love (https://newrepublic.com/post/193725/donald-trump-israel-hostages-nazis-jewish-prisoners-love)

Mamdani never credited Hitler for accomplishments (https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4523915-ex-chief-of-staff-criticizes-trump-for-hitler-talk/)

Mamdani never blamed Jews ahead of time for a possible loss (https://www.reuters.com/world/us/do...partly-blame-if-he-loses-election-2024-09-20/)

Should I go on, tney are plenty more examples

Jaysus, now their all citing grok, I’d guess if you believed everything you read in tweets, with a little Elon weighing in, all of that would be accurate, and you are using Administration sources as “proof”

So people protesting against Israel’s actions in Gaza was antisemitism?
Here's how leftards work:

If someone uses a truck to run over a bunch of people while yelling "allahu akbar" they say "That was probably just a mentally unhealthy guy, or an incel, so it doesn't count as a terrorist attack."

If someone finds writing on the side of a synogogue that says "Jews suck", that instantly gets logged as a "terrorist attack by white nationals", regardless of whether or not they saw the Dem or muslim holding the spray can..

If you don't believe me, look at the figures that leftists constantly cite for "terrorists by group".

Now, in answer to your question: yes, in a lot of cases it's quite virulent anti-Semitism. It's anti-Semitism when they're chanting "from the river to the sea" because that's a blatant call for genocide. It's anti-Semitism when they call the Israelis colonizers. It's anti-Semitism when they harrass, threaten and assault Jewish people.

ALL pro-Gaza protests are anti-Semitic in nature, because support for Hamas and the IRGC is support for a genocide against Jews.

FYI Hamas and the IRGC do NOT want peace in Gaza, Israel and the West Bank, and if you think that they do then you are a fucking idiot.
And Mamdani nor any of the others ever....

Mamdani never ....
WTF are you even saying those things about Mamdani for? I never accused him of any of that. I just said that his wife is a huge Hamas supporter, so he is a Hamas supporter.

Mamdani's wife is a vile, atrocious pig of a woman and no decent person could share a bed with her. So Mamdani - is - a - vile - pig.

Who is 'they'? Grokmaster is only one person.
Illiteracy: Attempted use of plural for singular.

Archives: your dislike of Grok and mistrust of Elon is entirely misplaced.

Twitter before Elon:
  • was a member of TNI, along with Reuters, BBC, CBC, Associated Press, NYT, WashPo, FB, Google and others
  • TNI members (FB and Twitter) famously banned people from their social media accounts for saying things which were known at the time to be true, they even did it to the NYPost. That's kind of AWESOME for NYT when the NYPost gets kicked off of social media, right? Especially for saying things that even Hunter Biden acknowledges to be factual...
  • TNI members pushed all of the Fauci narratives which are now known to be lies
  • Twitter used their algorithms to elevate Faucian fibs and downplay facts
  • TWITTER DENIED THEIR USE OF BOT ACCOUNTS, TO PUSH THEIR NARRATIVES - aka they lied to us both
  • Twitter's bot accounts quickly liked and shared posts that synced with TNI's false narratives (eg "everybody say 'pangolin', no one is allowed to say BSL4 lab or they're racist!")
  • MSM members of TNI used the number of "twitter likes and re-tweets" like polling data, to say "LOOK: HER POST GOT 80,000 LIKES AND 20,000 RE-TWEETS!!!! THIS IS WHAT EVERYONE BELIEVES!!!"
  • even this week, Associated Press pumped out another article about Fauci's associates' criminality which was rife with omissions and lies, and that article was shared by CNN and CTV News (Canada), who aren't even officially TNI members. I fuckin dare you to take me on if you think that Associated Press didn't just churn out more lies to protect their covid-era disinformation campaign
Grok has no history of lying to you like the TNI members do, archives.

Elon has no history of lying to you like the TNI members do, archives.

Elon's "sin" was breaking the TNI monopoly. He took a big chunk out of Big Brother.

What else did Elon actually do, archives? What was so bad about pulling Twitter out of TNI? Can you explain that to me? FYI Elon was EXTREMELY popular among leftists before he broke their monopoly on news & social media. So why the sudden fall from grace, just for breaking up a monopoly held by liars?

Didn't happen.

The study cited in your link notes that the vast majority of what they are calling "antisemitism" are anti gaza war protests.

That's not antisemitism.

You should also note that being pro palestinian isn't antisemitic either.

However marching with torches and pitchforks chanting "the Jews will not replace us" definitely is.
