Agreed; and I simply think the nativity scene comparison is more victimology from the thin skinned authoritarians.

My concern is always about legislation; the second you begin forcing legislation through to appease authoritarian theocrats, is the second we lose freedom.

This is why Christians, hell bent on pitching their victimology, are the gravest threat to the US.

I had some naïve hope that dumb ideas would die in the ideas marketplace. It does not work that way.

There is always a power locus, and they are adept at getting hold of it and foisting dumb on us, codifying it.
What should be a natural process of truth winning out is instead a fight for power pitting ignorance versus enlightenment.

No, I am a once baptized christian who realized the frailty and thinness of the arguments christianity posed; the hypocritical application of their legislative intent; and the idiocy of their creation claims.

I am now an atheist who dabbles in buddhism.
