It doesn't matter whether or not you don't like riots. Most civilized human beings hate them. The point is that's , the way I see it there's a good change Chavin's verdict will trigger some super-sized race riots. The only possible eventuality that would prevent this rioting is Chauvin being convicted of 2nd - degree murder, any looking at how the Minnesota State Legal Code defines what 2nd-Degree murder amounts to, I don't think the prosecution could come anywhere close to prooving that Chauvin was guilty of this charge (beyond any reasonable doubt).
Chauvin is also charged with 3rd-degree murder and 2nd-degree manslaughter. If you've got the time, google up the current definitions of these two crimes in the official Minnesota Legal Code. If you can work what they mean, and how they could possibly relate to the Floyd case, I take my hat off to you, because I can't make head nor tail of them. There "all Greek to me"..."pure "Gobbledy - Gook" !
If there are riots after the verdict of Chauvin's case is pronounced, and YOU shot and killed a Black rioter trying to smash into a business you own, dude, IMO you would find yourself promptly arrested and charged with some category of homicide: Murder in the 1st -degree; 2nd - degree murder, 3rd - degree murder; 2nd -degree manslaughter, WHATEVER .And I wouldn't like your chances in Court, brother. I reckon you'd end up behind bars for sure.
