Obama's DEMOCRAT Party had a commanding majority in Congress during his Reign of Error, as evidenced by the fact that Obamacare was passed without a single Republican vote.

Ask yourself why the same thing wasn't possible with the immigration reforms that liberals claim to so fervently desire.

Obama's DEMOCRAT Party had a commanding majority in Congress during his Reign of Error, as evidenced by the fact that Obamacare was passed without a single Republican vote.

What "difficulty" would have prevented DEMOCRATS from passing and Obama from signing the reforms they pretended to espouse?

Ask yourself why getting an immigration bill into law wasn't possible with the obvious advantages DEMOCRATS held at the time.

We've gone from separating Indian babies from their parents (and then exterminating them), to stealing babies from their slave parents (and then re-selling them into slavery), to building a country on child labor (working in factories as young as 8-yrs. old), to incarcerating Japanese-American toddlers in internment camps, to allowing priests to sexually abuse children for decades, to forcing buckets of high-fructose corn syrup down kids’ throats until half of them are part of a childhood obesity epidemic, to turning our schools into killing fields because we love our guns more than we love our kids -- who the hell are we kidding? Stop being shocked and surprised that Trump is kidnapping Hispanic children from their parents as if "this isn't who we are!" Yes, it is. It has ALWAYS been who we are. It's way past time for Congress to earn their paychecks from the taxpayers. Let'm all engage in some give-and-take and create and pass a law.

Unless of course the left actually does want Trump to be a dictator or a king or a Hitler with a pen. If the left does......well...may they never ever complain again when he makes other unilateral decisions.

Not all Democrats are liberal on immigration. All Republicans opposed everything Obama tried to do. Ergo no law.

All true. Still a list of the most disgusting things in US history doesn't make those things alone "who we are." It's who they are, those who did it and supported it and who support it now.
And right now, in the final analysis, it is Republicans who support this now, just as it was bigots who supported segregation, or internment camps, or southern slave plantation farmers who used slaves
to do all the backbreaking work for free.

Can you produce a single post of yours protesting Obama's separation of families?

Can you show the forum any evidence that you opposed Obama's caging of immigrant children?

All that is necessary for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.

If you did nothing, then you tacitly supported separating families and caging kids under Obama, and have no moral standing to complain about Trump doing it now.

Is it possible that the left doesn't want to actually solve immigration issues, or heal racial division, since much of their support and political capital comes from exploiting them?

The only families Obama separated where those of convicted criminals which is required by law the rest of it is just you defending abusing children by trump by separating families.

I am not blaming the DEMOCRATS for anything they didn't do, grandpa Andrew.

I am pointing out the fact that they did nothing to prevent what Obama did and what Trump does now when they had a chance to pass any legislation they wanted to.
