Actually the vote is 51 unless a filibuster is used. It is not mandatory. However Trump unilaterally decided to implement this policy. Trumpy did not ask the Dems to back it. He decided by himself. Now he has the ability to change it all by himself. But Trump is trying to blame it on Dems. Is there anyone dumb enough to believe that this is the Dems fault? Anyone really that stupid?

We have a long and rich history of extracting children from families and had policies in place doing just such to indigenous first nations peoples up into the 1970s. Their kids were forced into distant “boarding schools for years to be raped by adults and have the “Indian” removed.
