The overwhelming percentage of scientists are not only believers but alarmed at what the evidence shows. You can buy a scientist when you have the money and power of the deniers. The fossil fuel industry has a bottomless pit of cash to buy off scientists.
But, if it is true, as the vast majority of scientists say, then we better get at it. It can save the globe. If they are wrong, we have cleaned the air, land and water. Which to me is a great achievement. The only mistake is doing nothing and risking it all for short term profits.
