That's what you will get if you end government run health care. People who can't afford health insurance will have to go to emergency clinics to get treated for things their primary care doctor/specialist used to handle.

Also, all the money you saved by ending government health care will go to pay your new health insurance premium...which will be much higher.

What does it matter if you pay for the ones who don't pay when you pay taxes...or when you pay your health insurance?

Yep. Hospitals are not going to give out treatment for free. They will recover whatever is spent on treating the uninsured by charging health insurance companies more. Those companies will then pass along those costs to you in the form of higher premiums and higher deductibles.

Imagine if am entire political party, a TV NETWORK and a batshit punditry class of people who were actually BUYING and USING THE 'PRODUCT' weren't simultaneously attacking and UNDERMINING it.

What hospitals need to do is NOT treat those that can't pay. Problem solved and the rest of us don't pay higher prices.

They end up in the ER because they are too dumb to take care of themselves. I thought Obamacare was going to solve this? Obama lied, people died.

Imagine if the Democratic Party of the Jackass had not passed Obamacare based on lies, distortions and false math along a straight party line vote and had REALLY tried to deal with the problem honestly!

Placing the healthcare industry into the hands of dishonest party hacks would be the most idiotic thing America could do. Other than putting California political hacks in power.

I agree to an extent but it's impractical from a humanitarian standpoint.
I will say this though. Anyone getting free stuff from the gubmint should be subjected to big brother watching them.
Gubmint should monitor how much Medicaid recipients spend on booze and cigs. Any amt. spent over an allowed minimum reduces their entitlement.
Rampant Medicaid abusers of alcohol and tobacco get palliative treatment only since medical care is a total waste on those people anyway.
I'd allow Medicaid to pay for tobacco cessation and drug/alcohol rehab if the abusers are serious about getting their full entitlement back.
I need to be King. The country needs someone with common sense to make these policies.
