Still wrong. The difference is stark and not difficult to understand. BLM was fighting to make America honor the constitution. They did not attack, but responded to police attacks. BLM was no threat to America or the constitution. The Trump insurrection was precisely that. They wanted to take over the nation's capitol and stop congress from doing their duties. They were battling against Americai to install a wannabe dictator who also does not respect America or the constitution.

You can’t pick and choose your insurrections. If anything, the Portland *insurrectionists* manage to force the police to retreat and they actually did manage to wrest control of the government from its duly elected authorities; whereas, the 1/6 insurrectionists failed to.
So, should all insurrectionists be treated equally under the law? If 1/6 insurrectionists should be shot like animals shouldn’t all insurrectionists be shot like animals.
Why did the Portland cops fail to shoot to kill any of the unarmed insurrectionists?

Republicans knew it that day & the next, too - even though most deny it now and say that it just looked like tourists.
Trump has cast a weird spell on the right. I thought it would dissipate when he left office, but it's still there. Still working on figuring that out.

If 1/6 was an insurrection so was Portland CHOP.
CHOP lasted weeks. 1/6 a matter of hours. CHOP accomplished a full insurrection since it fully usurped government authority by way of violence; in contrast, 1/6 was a failed attempt.
I’ll leave to the reader to decide which was the more effective insurrection or whether they are comparable.
There are some comparisons but only the fucking morons think they are even close to being equal.

There’s this wonderful invention called ‘airports’ and they have planes in them. Find one near you, procure a ticket and board a flight and get to Portland. It went on for weeks, so travel is no excuse.
