Open Carry: why do gun nuts need to pack fire arms everywhere they go??

Oh, so now they're OUR mentally ill idiots? Projecting much?
Are you gonna tell us guns are easier to get today than they were 30-40 years ago?
AGAIN! Tell us how the NRA is responsible for the actions of these shooters.

You're the one who called them "idiots," my friend.

I see you veered off into the ditch and have refused or cannot rebut the truth: "...1) the NRA donates heavily to simpatico (R)s' war chests, 2) the NRA is a lobbyist for the arms makers, 3) the NRA tries to block *any* sort of gun regulations whether simple or draconian because slippery slope."

Anyone with a hint of common sense knows this. Why aren't kids who play on facebook all the time reporting these threats? Most give warning signs, at least that's what they say after the fact.
I would doubt that any of the tragedies came without "warnings"...very obvious signs...
Few here seem to be willing to discuss why the mass shootings were not such a huge problem is in the past....it's not about accessibility to guns...that's why... They're unwilling to look at the real issues....which they help to perpetuate....

I believe that every person has as much of a right to own a firearm as he/she has a right to own a bowling ball or a set of golf clubs. We don't license and register them.

The Second Amendment doesn't specify the right to own nuclear weapons or other military ordinance, however.

Liberals who want to ban the private ownership of firearms are asking too much.
Conservatives who want to own military weapons are also asking too much.
I'm a Liz & Bernie guy, but Beto is right about one thing. Military style weapons already in public circulation should be confiscated. We can discuss
reasonable compensation for their owners.

Poor lame troll. Once again you fail. Don't you ever get tired of being publicly whipped by one of your many, many betters?

Now scoot along and go post some more shares from Breitbart....

Truth? You wouldn't know truth if it slapped you in the face.
Tell us how the NRA is responsible for these idiots shooting people.

The NRA used to be for background checks. That was until they became subservient to gun manufacturers. Now they serve them. The NRA does not even care about what the membership want. They work for companies and delude the membership.
The gun lovers are unable to perceive or understand the changes.

American males often seem to be brought up very much as what we used to call Mother's Boys, particularly the right wing ones, and the bang-bangs, as far as one can see, stand in for a sense of manliness, which they seem desperately to lack. It all seems a bit sad, and causes a lot of unnecessary death.

There seem to be two types of gun owners, broadly speaking. One group just sees them as tools.... for hunting, target shooting, or maybe just collecting for the sake of admiring their craftsmanship and history. The other group is more like what you described: totally obsessed with them and with the weird idea that they are some kind of patriots standing between the government and tyranny. Yet they tend to vote for -- wait for this -- tyrannical types of leaders (like Trump). It's pathological, to say the least. The latter group is the one that the NRA panders to, of course.

LOL....

Pretty sure this is not my "fail";)
Pretty sure both posts use "idiots"...Only one goes cesspool low, though;)

Of course I called them idiots, only idiots shoot innocent people.
What makes you say they're "OUR" mentally ill? The mentally ill have a political preference now and are NRA members?
AGAIN! Tell us how the NRA is responsible for the actions of these shooters and quit deflecting.

You're going to have to be patient...you know why....

Yes - and the hunting guns can be licenced and so on easily enough. Difficult though it is to visualise, the young Penderyn used to go out and shoot things with a very poor old shot-gun (bit of bent wire for a firing-pin) and was quite good on the range in the RAF. There is all the difference in the world between a grown-up dislike of killing animals and a Good British horror at the thought of pointing a killing-thing at a human being. It's complicated over here by all sorts of ancient antagonisms over land-rights, poaching and the like, but I think our HUGE advantage is that we lack your beastly NRA and are allowed to grow up!
