ya i lived thru it too. You were not getting information i was not and if you think so tell me what source of information you think you had that i would not also be able to see.
Sure. But i lived in Canada, so I lived the Canadian covid experience. And when Trudeau shipped a big chunk of our national emergency stockpile of PPE over to China at the outbreak of a pandemic, it wasn't like the answer to a trivia question for me. It just another "WTF" moment of life under a liberal government.
And i am not going to keep repeating myself if you are not reading what i said.
You can stop any time, QP, because what you're saying is stupid anyways and I have given you ample proof of that.
You're welcome.
I specifically said they got advice wrong but what dumb magats do not understand is
No, they did not just "
get the advice wrong".
Maybe that's what it looked like from your POV, because you're stupid and you needed the benefit of hindsight to finally catch on, but I knew the instant that the words came out of their mouths that they were saying and doing the stupidest fucking things imaginable.
I only have grade 12 biology under my belt. I never took a single post-secondary course that was at all related to biology. Yet I already knew how dangerously stupid they are.
Sure, maybe gr 12 biology isn't a prerequisite for becoming the mayor of NYC, or a senator, but those guys have medical professionals at their beck and call, from whom they can get the information they need before they get stupid in front of their constituents.
THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR BEING THAT WRONG AT THAT PAY GRADE. NONE.
Again, that was not the approach taken by Fauci, Wolenski, the NiH, or the CDC.
They came out in favour of the "sure to be perfect vax", and with both guns blazing against everything else.
but what dumb magats do not understand is that is part of the process with a novel virus as NO ONE KNOWS what works and they are using best guesses based on similar characteristic viruses.
QP, you're the dumbest one in the room.
You're not even thinking, you're just regurgitating talking points.
with a novel virus as NO ONE KNOWS what works and they are using best guesses based on similar characteristic viruses.
True. And that's why we should have considered all possibilities, and looked into many different possible approaches, instead of just rushing towards vaccines with laser focus.
And you are not using a correct definition for novel virus. What it means is 'new to man' meaning we have no history with it. Meaning we do not know how to treat it and we do not know yet what its life cycle will look like.
I know you think ^that's^ smart, but it's just proof of something else entirely QP.
I understand the meaning, and I never even gave you a "definition" of "novel virus", what I was explaining to you was
why novel viruses are so scary.
With strains of the flu that have previously gone around, everyone has a bit of built-in (acquired) immunity left over from fighting them off before, or from our moms fighting them off, so we don't have to rely on innate immunity alone. Our bodies aren't starting from scratch. But with a novel virus, all of our bodies start from scratch and we all have to rely 100% on innate immunity all along. Sometimes humans get too sick before their body finally figures out how to fight back.
Let me just expand on what i told you about TB and smallpox, etc earlier... Those things were still very dangerous for Europeans after they came to the new world. But they were
novel to the indigenous people here. So while whites had a solid chance of dying from them, indigenous people barely had a chance against them. There were people who were married to indigenous folks and had kids with them, and when those diseases came along they would just wipe out the indigenous spouse and all the kids. Imagine your whole family just dying around you. That's what novel viruses can do.
And that's why it was
inexcusable to say the stupidest things possible early on in the pandemic. People who didn't really know what the F they were talking about - like Trudeau, Pelosi and DeBlasio - should have stayed quiet.
