the virus is not just floating in the air everywhere waiting for people to infect. if no one with covid is in an area for a while then there will not be a risk of infection in that space. If someone with covid enters a space like a coffee shop and you walk past them as you are leaving you are unlikely to catch it. If you are on the other side of the store and leave out a far door and never get near them you are unlikely to get it.

Covid needs to travel on your expellant (breath, droplets) and a top notch air exchange system is a very good protection as it can remove the breath before it reaches you.

and that is why masks work for short term exposure. They slow the velocity of the breath and the distance it will travel.

Our bodies aren't starting from scratch. But with a novel virus, all of our bodies start from scratch and we all have to rely 100% on innate immunity all along. Sometimes humans get too sick before their body finally figures out how to fight back.

But they were novel to the indigenous people here. So while whites had a solid chance of dying from them, indigenous people barely had a chance against them. There were people who were married to indigenous folks and had kids with them, and when those diseases came along they would just wipe out the indigenous spouse and all the kids. Imagine your whole family just dying around you. That's what novel viruses can do.

Then we vaccinated 85% of our population by the end of 2021, and in 2022 we had 19,000 covid deaths here, and triple the amount of hospitalizations. Talk of covid was down to 0% most nights. When I tld left4rds that covid deaths weren't down at all, in fact they were up in a lot of months, i was told that I was full of shit. But at the end of the year, Health Canada quietly let those numbers out, and our MSM still never talked about it.

Question, if 15,000 deaths and x-number of hospitalizations constitutes a pandemic, isn't "way more of that stuff after we theoretically have a vaccine for it" what a leftist might call "way more pandemicker"??

Here's something else for you to chew on: Health Canada also put out a stat each month called "Covid deaths by vax status", and by summer 2022, 86% of covid deaths here were happening among the multi-vaxed.
