And did whoever decided this not know or not care that word of the deception would leak, and that some folks might be testy about it?

Was this Trumps idea or did the SS order it....remember that in security situations the SS is in charge.....Presidents can run their mouths but they are going to do as told in order to keep them safe.
 
Rubio today was asked how he felt about this and he refused to answer.....which gives me the idea that this was a Trump idea....but I do not know.

Because if this was a SS order he would say so, it makes his boss look tons better.

This story about Trump being recently moved off of a flight on the Qatari jet for his own safety after a credible threat, while all the other media and staff on that "less safe" jet still flew on it, is remarkable. It's sociopathic on one level, narcissistic on another, deceitful on multiple levels, secretive, ambiguous, and uncertain - in other words, this is a very Trumpian story. It's also Trumpian in another way - it's impossible to know what he was and wasn't PERSONALLY told, and how that got processed by his defective brain into his personal reality du jour, yielding orders that produced poor decisions. This is what happens and will continue to happen in a government where high-ranking and ambitious people act compliantly, paying fealty to a disordered idiot.
