Tucker reads dissertation of "Doctor" Jill Biden. Calls her "borderline illiterate"

Ah... So any idiot can get a PhD in Education... I see! Nice to know that our education system is so slack and non-rigorous in it's academics. Explains a lot of why our public schools, in particular, are so lousy at turning out educated graduates...

It is not a Ph.D. It is an Ed.D. Much of our educational system is more rigorous, but education courses are about on a par with P.E. for rigor. Ask a public school teacher about their education classes and most will tell you they are easy and useless.

Education courses do not prevent teachers from turning out educated students. Teachers also must take classes in their subject matter which are more difficult than their education classes. Many become good teachers by following the examples from good teachers they experienced.

No, I just started at the beginning and did the first few pages. I really don't want to spend the time parsing through the whole thing pointing out all of the flaws and mistakes. I'll give a few more examples:

Pages 4 to 7 are rambling drivel. They do nothing to advance the paper's thesis or position. For example, take this lengthy paragraph on page 6:

It is offered without a single shred of evidence, proof, reference, or anything else. Some of it is nothing but personal opinion like:

Where does she get this data from? It's never explained. That's basic to any academic paper. It's the whole basis of an academic paper. You gather facts, evidence, and information then present it, documenting where it came from, then draw conclusions from it.

Then, as I previously have pointed out she drifts off into a history of community colleges on pages 7 to 13 that is totally irrelevant to the paper's thesis. This amounts to nothing but filler. It has no purpose within the paper, draws no conclusions, and isn't used elsewhere in the paper.

On pages 13 and 14 she brings in the topic of "Pre-Tech students." The key two sentences (badly written) that are salient here are:

She then provides a table for the fall 2005, spring 2006 semesters to show the pre-tech classes versus college level ones. This does nothing to prove the claim she made in the statement I provided. She'd have had to provide say 5 years of data showing how the pre-tech classes have grown in number each year, or the like, to do that. What she provides is one semester's worth of data. That is, a single data point which as anyone even cursorily versed in statistics knows is meaningless.
She doesn't show that pre-tech classes have "continued to increase."

This is typical of the whole paper. She blithely tosses out some statement or conclusion and then fails completely to offer any sort of corroboration or supporting evidence to back it up. That is academic failure at its most basic level.

You need to get a life.

None of the hours of time you have spent writing about this supports your previous claim that her writing is "atrocious"

Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.

Then it just reinforces what I stated. If her doctorate is one of mediocre quality but expected, it shouldn't be a doctorate to begin with.

It provides her with more money and promotions and gives the education department more funding and graduate courses for their faculty to teach. This is how a lot of college courses work. You make your courses easier to attract more students.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson is hardly Black.

He's probably 65% non Sub Saharan African, just like Obama.

That's how i see him too. Heels-up Harris (future vp) is not black either. Nor is Meghan Markle. They look entirely white. They are rachel dolezals who call themselves black to get all that affirmative action special treatment.

OMG - she and pedo-joe are even dumber than Aunt Barry and Big Mike .
Tucker the liar, idiot and sucker who has a marginal BA degree probably hasn't the ability to comprehend a doctoral dissertation because it takes having a masters degree and successfully completing cap stone to have the ability to work up to being able to go through the rigors of constructing and publishing a university compliant doctoral dissertation.

Maybe not, but he has the money and network backing to hire lots of people who do and can then give him the necessary information for him to read on his show.

I would also say that Jill Biden's dissertation wouldn't fly at most universities. Her student advisor / professor would have red marked her dissertation heavily and required an extensive rewrite and lots more work on it. But she wasn't at a major university so it slipped by.

I've been putting the paper (slowly) through an online spelling and grammar checker and Carlson is nuts. For instance the word "socioeconomic" was flagged because she put a hyphen in it, yet I've seen both versions used. Here's an example: "The UN’s Framework for the Immediate Socio-Economic Response to the COVID 19 Crisis..."

Another example is that she used Roman numerals (Paper I, Paper II) and the spell check said it was a misspelling, because the program doesn't recognize that usage.

The spell checker also flagged proper names as mistakes (Dr. Tinto.)

Finally, she wrote a sentence with "as healthcare needs become more critical..." and the program took the words "needs become" out of context and claimed it was archaic usage.

This was only in the first few pages of the paper. I think Carlson is a deceitful know-it-all who understands that his gullible followers will accept his comments unquestioningly because they hate the Bidens, too.

Tucker Carlson and a select coterie of JPP Trumpettes have claimed her dissertation is riddled with grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, and reads like it was written by an illertate.

After many wasted hours of reading her dissertation and rushing back here to write their long winded critiques, all they have been able to do is offer some tepid attempts to word-smith some passages she wrote to supposedly increase it's clarity.

The take away is that Tucker and his JPP Trumpettes lied their fat asses off about the dissertation being riddled with spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors.

Carlson and his BA in History, lol. Didn't have the intellectual chops to go any further.

The words in her dissertation were too big for him to understand. :rofl2:

I sure didn't care before, and don't much now, but I'll be sure to make it a point to refer to her always
with a reverential doctor of philosophy, the highest degree awarded in the field of English, Dr. Jill Biden. PhD, and all emoluments appertaining to
a right honorable member of the esteemed group. :)

She doesn't have a PhD you idiot. It's an EdD and they are little more than honorary degrees. Shaq and cosby have one too.
