Wow, that global warming thang is a real bitch!

Thought you would like to know about this:

The waste, usually a gray liquid sludge, is laden with deadly cyanide and toxic heavy metals. Many gold mines dump their toxic waste directly into natural water bodies. ...

Toxic waste can easily seep into soil and groundwater, or be released in catastrophic spills.

Ok. What's that got to do with using a SWAT team to check for cyanide?

If you know that you aren't supposed to dump cyanide into ground water and do it anyway... that would indicate a lawless person or company.

You want cyanide in your creeks or ground water?

People who oppose conservationism always yap about co2 which is naturally occurring.
Yeah I am calling bullshit on that one. Didn't anybody tell you that the US has cut CO2 emissions back to 1991 levels by moving to CCGT electricity generation. Contrast that with Germany, where emissions are actually increasing!!

My wife is a Master Gardener and uses compressed CO2 cartridges to increase the CO2 concentration in her greenhouse when starting her garden in April.
Now that's what I call "green".

This is what people like you do all the time, if you talk about carbon dioxide, they instantly change the subject to carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and sulphur dioxide emissions. Yes, I know that they are pollutants and toxic, whereas CO2 is colourless, odourless, non toxic and essential for life.

Go to Holland. They use CO2 concentrations of 900-1000 ppm, in vast greenhouses, to accelerate growth.

I never said anything about CO2.. That was YOU.

You are projecting like mad, Havana.

We have been talking about pollution and airquality.

May I remind you that I started this thread, you're the one that introduced straw men like cyanide runoff.
