He’s never had an incentive to keep promises before.
What’s the worst thing Bush or Obama would do?
He doesn't have any incentive to now, either.

Trump is prepared to give him one.
And Kim is acting like he knows it. I’ll guarantee both Kim and China would very much like to have Bush or Obama back—they were predictable.
It’s over your head, adults are talking here.
No, not really. W/Twump it's all grandstanding and bluster. Just like in Syria.
No, he's not acting like that. This is a play. The concessions the North are talking about are entirely cosmetic.
You’re only right about one thing, I don’t have balls and don’t want them, they seem to be a source of a lot of discomfort from my observation, always adjusting them, scratching them, they get sweaty and seem very sensitive. Yeah, I’m glad I don’t have balls.pure bullshit......you made a stupid comment and don't have the balls to admit it.....
You’re out of step with many Trump critics.
Here is Ian Bremmer on Twitter:
I’ve been critical of Trump foreign policy missteps in past year: TPP, Paris, too many unnecessary missteps with allies to count.
But today’s historic North/South Korea breakthrough does not happen without priority & pressure from US President.
Trump deserves full credit.
_____________
Bremmer is a well-informed, Trump critic. Google him.
there are lots of sources..goggle "maximum pressure" Trump / Korea.
Compare that to Obama's "strategic patience" / Korea
Where were you last summer or fall when the media was hyperventilating about Trump getting us into a nuke exchange with NK lol?
Does the term ‘credible threat’ mean anything to you?
South Korea and China are doing the bulk of the work. Jae-In’s campaign promise was to improve relations with North Korea. Xi’s reassurance to North Korea that they will defend them against regime change has been a big factor.
Trump can take the credit, I don’t care. I’m glad progress has been made. I didn’t want WWIII
if SK and china are doing the bulk of the work, why did SK's foreign minister give credit to trump and not to themselves and china?
Because he knows how well flattery works on Trump. Most world leaders know that give as much credit to Trump as you can, then he will be compliant.
Hello Darth,
non sequitur
Trump does not deserve the credit for this in any way.
BUT EVEN IF HE DID...
...Donald Trump is still the most classless, ignorant, disgusting persons ever to hold the presidency...with the possible exception of the president he holds in such high esteem, Andrew Jackson.
Donald Trump is an abomination; a man who gives credence to the worst thoughts of people around the world who hold American in scorn and contempt.
He will always be that...even if he were to invent a perpetual motion machine...or a renewable, extremely low cost source of electric power.
He is a man with no class...little knowledge and even less interest in actually learning.
you are full of shit. This is historic, you don't hand over a peace prize to someone on a whim. Trump played an integral role here and it's not even debateable.

Koreans love daddy trump ^

^ coincidence i guess
i believe it is tradition to bestow a cognomen on people who have subdued a foreign enemy of the empire. The proper name you are looking for is Donaldus Koreanus Trumpus.
the House report was grossly redacted..on it goes..DKT, comrade.
This has not been a good day for The Resistance. First Koreans are praising Trump for his peace efforts on the Peninsula and then the House gives the thumbs down on Russian Collusion.
But it’s been a great day for Koreans and the US of A.
MAGA.
This is indeed historic and wonderful news. I wouldn't be so quick though to give Trump the credit.
