Assange dragged out of Embassy and arrested in London

Documentary filmmaker and former Taliban hostage Sean Langan, who has spent more than 50 hours with Assange in the past year.

According to Langan, Assange said Trump's associates are intellectually incapable of masterminding a complex collusion scheme with the Russians.

Masterminding, no. Participating in a scheme masterminded by others, for sure. :|

The conspiracy theory is crap. All Putin had to do was to prey upon the naivety of vast numbers of potential voters.

Rosenstein confirmed what we already knew… that the so-called Russian interference did not change the vote count nor did it affect the outcome of the election.

“There is no allegation that the conspiracy changed the vote count or affected any election result. The special counsel’s investigation is ongoing,” Rosenstein said.

Rosenstein also confirmed Russian interference did not affect the outcome of the election the last time the Special Counsel rolled out a junk indictment in February.

This means Republicans were also victims of the “spear phishing,” however in an effort to make Hillary and the Democrats the perpetual victims, Rosenstein purposely withheld the political affiliations with most of the ‘hacking’ victims."

PhD, my culo.

you should look at what the previous Ecuador leader said about this guy Moreno- Calls this guy a fascist.
Ecuador doesn't give a shit about a free press;s ability to publish- but Americans do.

^so who knows?
But you can be sure Moreno doesn't give a rat's ass about any press principles - just getting in good with Pence

The Ecuadorians gave him asylum and citizenship when no one else would.

That does not strike me as the actions of a nation "out to get" Assuange.

The Ecuadorian's characterization of Assuange as a beligerant, ungrateful spoiled brat rings true to me.

I saw a very unkempt and unhygienic man, wailing, crying, and acting mentally unstable as he was frog marched out of the embassy. That was not a good look for him, and those visual cues lead me to believe this is a person lacking discipline, social ettiqutte, self-control, and self-respect.

You implication that the Ecuadorians are lying, and they were "out to get" Assuange does not ring true, you have provide no substantive evidence for the assertion, and it appears to be based on sheer guesswork and conjecture on your part.

Out to get him is so laughable, he was there for 7 years. What took so long?

have you ever seen an unkempt hermit? That's what he looked like to me.
You are failing to differentiate between Moreno and Correa's presidency - night and day attitude towards Assange

We've ended the asylum of this spoiled brat," a visibly flustered President Lenin Moreno said Thursday in a fiery speech explaining his decision to withdraw protection of Assange and hand him over to British police. From now on we'll be more careful in giving asylum to people who are really worth it, and not miserable hackers whose only goal is to destabilize governments."

Others, including former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, who granted Assange asylum in 2012, said that while Assange violated the terms of his asylum and was a burden on Ecuador "that's no excuse for throwing him to the lions."

The final straw for Moreno was WikiLeaks' decision to spread information about a purported offshore account controlled by the president's brother. Personal photographs of Moreno lying in bed, as well as images of close family members dancing, were also leaked, further incensing him

Yeh that's wasn't the cleverest thing to have done. The former president has come out on Assange's side though.

You're a stupid ill informed fucker as usual.

they say looks aren't important I know, but Julian looked like he's been soaking in Drano for years.......Ecuadorians ain't exactly congenial hosts! lol

Guess you didn't get the "you have provided no substantive evidence for the assertion"

Most would have taken that as a challenge to put up or shut up, well, unless they couldn't "provide evidence," then they would have to attempt an escape employing personal insults, appears we know what avenue you decided

(now time for more personal insults, or, "I chose to ignore you" whinnying)

The difference between you and me, is that you leaped out of your chair to a foregone conclusion based on almost no evidence, and relying on guesswork, conjecture, and extrapolation.

I suspect your position is always - and I mean always - predicated on what is best for Trump, either directly or indirectly.

I am willing to let Assuage have his day in court and give his side of the story.

I am prepared to accept the Ecuadorians were "out to get him" if that claim is supported by the weight of evidence provided.

But I am also prepared to believe the Ecuadorians account that Assuage was a spoiled, ungrateful brat, who abused the privileges Ecuador extended to him.

The bottom line is that is nothing but a side show you are attempting to float.

Your fixation on Ecuador is irrelevant.

The issue is what, if any, U.S. laws Assuamge broke, and the U.S. courts apprerently have determined there is probably cause to believe he broke American law.

If you don't like American laws, you are free to elect represenatives committed to changing them.

There are certain posters I never read, never pay attention to, never respond to - because they are too mentally unstable, pathologically dishonest, obsessive, compulsive, or just way too boring to waste time on.

But the creepy thing is some of these rightwing dunces follow me around, read nearly everything I write, and relentlessly write to me vainly hoping I read and respond. Clearly, they find my writing extremely interesting. Worth making it a point to read and track down. Its a little creepy - but also weirdly comical!

complete bullshit/ all of it.

My first post on this topic was a word of caution that Moreno had an agenda, and cannot be just accepted as face value.
I do no "leaping" ( if anyone jumped to conclusions it was you that assange deserved removal)

You completely miss the dynamic -was Assange a journalist or not? He certainly published like one.
So GB extraditing to the USA would be EXTRADITING A JOURNALIST for using free speech

Remember the Pentagon Papers?

as to the law breaking , Assange is NOT CHARGED WITH ESPIONAGE -i suggest you do a bit more background
before you make these leaps. a good place to start would be the indictment.
Is helping crack a password Espionage? is it extraditable? is it even true?

After Australia re-issued Assange his passport, I actually thought he would be home free. That ridiculous beard makes him look like a monk in those oversize black clothes.

Anyway, I was never much of a fan of anything that Assange did prior to 2015. It's funny how he could have been a hero of the left, if only a Republican administration had been in power from 2009-2017, for which he would likely have favored the Democratic candidate to replace it.
