COVID related deaths

^Moron thinks the UN is a scientific body.

I am still waiting fro you to back up your buffoonish, repugnant lies JackOFF. You do this a lot. I guess you like removing any doubt what a pathetic, low IQ, repugnant whiny lying dunce you are.

Give the World your Massive Knowledge of Science. Explain your Calculations. Tell Everyone why THEY are wrong and YOU are right!!!

You should start a thread begging for Forgiveness, admit you're a Trump Follower, and pledge to commit yourself to a Psychiatric Hospital.

You should be declared mentally incompetent and kept in a padded cell. I see you still haven't foind anything to back up your stupid lies JackOFF. No you're down to flailing and hurling insults.

So you couldn't find ONE post that supports your lie-filled claim.

Everyone knows of the jibberings of TD. I don't have to waste my precious time trying to prove anything to TD, he knows the nonsense he spews.

So you couldn't find ONE post that supports your lie-filled claim.

This is why I say you cannot argue with dishonest lying morons. ;)

Is it a flu. Corona virus is a variant of SARS. It has infected only a very small number of the population. It has killed far less than most any other flu. It's infection rate is less than most flu. This has been a milder than normal flu season.

SARS, Flu and Colds are all viruses, but they are different. That's why Flu vaccines don't work for Colds and that's why SARS isn't the same as the Flu no matter who says it is. It's why there's no vaccine for Colds and, at least so far, no vaccine for SARS.

COVID-19 is a form of coronavirus previously unknown to mankind. Some coronaviruses are common and mild. This one is not since it appears to be fatal to about 50% of those who are elderly or with compromised immune systems. Overall, about 1% of the population which is ten times more fatal than the flu's 0.1%. About 80% of people won't feel much, 20% will free like crap for a couple weeks and about 1% will be buried and life will go on. As for the total body count; time will tell. Let's see what we have on Easter, Cinco de Mayo and the Fourth of July. :)

https://www.cdc.gov/sars/index.html
Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a viral respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus called SARS-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV). SARS was first reported in Asia in February 2003. The illness spread to more than two dozen countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia before the SARS global outbreak of 2003 was contained.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/types.html
Human coronaviruses were first identified in the mid-1960s. The seven coronaviruses that can infect people are:

Common human coronaviruses
229E (alpha coronavirus)
NL63 (alpha coronavirus)
OC43 (beta coronavirus)
HKU1 (beta coronavirus)

Other human coronaviruses
MERS-CoV (the beta coronavirus that causes Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS)
SARS-CoV (the beta coronavirus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS)
SARS-CoV-2 (the novel coronavirus that causes coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19)

US Fatality rate from Corona Virus; about 1.5%. We are 75 days into this; it doesn't look like it is going to be anything nearly as devastating as the Obama Swine Flu epidemic.

COVID-19: U.S. at a Glance*†

Total cases: 140,904
Total deaths: 2,405

I've read your Trump-like posts, until lately, playing down, ignoring, and basically dismissing the coronavirus as a 'flu'.
(Did Hannity give you the New Script to recite from?)

It's not uncommon for people with mental disorders to have a loose grip on reality and often be guilty of confirmation bias.

Example: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/9599-delusional-disorder
Delusional disorder, previously called paranoid disorder, is a type of serious mental illness — called a “psychosis”— in which a person cannot tell what is real from what is imagined. The main feature of this disorder is the presence of delusions, which are unshakable beliefs in something untrue. People with delusional disorder experience non-bizarre delusions, which involve situations that could occur in real life, such as being followed, poisoned, deceived, conspired against, or loved from a distance. These delusions usually involve the misinterpretation of perceptions or experiences. In reality, however, the situations are either not true at all or highly exaggerated.

People with delusional disorder often can continue to socialize and function quite normally, apart from the subject of their delusion, and generally do not behave in an obviously odd or bizarre manner. This is unlike people with other psychotic disorders, who also might have delusions as a symptom of their disorder. In some cases, however, people with delusional disorder might become so preoccupied with their delusions that their lives are disrupted.

Although delusions might be a symptom of more common disorders, such as schizophrenia, delusional disorder itself is rather rare. Delusional disorder most often occurs in middle to late life.

US Fatality rate from Corona Virus; about 1.5%......
You may want to do the math on that one, sir.

If a third of the US is infected because there's no vaccine and we all go back to a normal life in a few weeks, that 1.5% can add up real quick.

You can do the math any number of ways lol.

Want a high mortality rate? Ignore selection bias and you’ll get one.

Apparently that idiot can't do basic math; let alone have an intelligent thought or comment. He thinks 109,290,600 Americans will get infected.

He said a 1.5% fatality rate. Obviously that depends upon the infection rate. Since there is no vaccine, is it really that hard to realize that this will be worse than flu season?

About half of US adults get flu vaccinations yet flu fatalities still number about 40,000 with a disease that is a tenth as deadly as COVID-19. Couple no COVID-19 vaccine with a disease that is more contagious than the flu and deadlier than the flu and it doesn't take a CDC scientist to deduce the results.

https://www.health.com/condition/cold-flu-sinus/how-many-people-die-of-the-flu-every-year
This season CDC estimates that, as of mid-March, between 29,000 and 59,000 have died due to influenza illnesses. Add to that the misery of hundreds of thousands of flu-related hospitalizations and millions of medical visits for flu symptoms this season.

So while the flu has long been considered a dangerous seasonal scourge, new data on the COVID-19 epidemic underscore a frightening fact: COVID-19 is even deadlier.

Yes, you can have selection bias and ignore whatever you like.
