Beef heart I use to use to feed my tropical fish.
But it/internal organs can be an issue for ppl prone to gout, should your family have a proclivity...
Technically the heart is a striated muscle. If you have gout it's best to avoid liver, kidney and sweetbreads.
all the supplies are low -especially frsh stuffSo low on ground sirloin and beef? ... how's the seafood looking there in the Fla. stores?
I've been trying to buy enough food to last 2 weeks (or even a month) at a time, so I don't check all the sections I normally do, each time I go.
all the supplies are low -especially frsh stuff

Yikes!None of the Millennials will get that one...
Last month I was walking down the beer & soda aisle & saw these from the corner of my eye, no green though
I thought~that looked like it said soylent, huh... Then I thought & then went back & WTF????It did say soylent!!

Nancy 'Antoinette' strikes ice cream gold during the pandemic. Yeah Pelousy...we can all relate to your "let them eat cake" attitude.
Can you believe that stupid b-word?
I went to the store today. Lots of bare shelves, but mostly a reduction in selection, not item. I bought all the meat and dairy I wanted plus eggs. Cleaning items were greatly reduced too. No hydrogen peroxide in the pharmacy area, but still plenty of bottles of rubbing alcohol.
The stores seem to be having the most difficulty keeping non perishables in stock. Strange.
I haven't had to shop for canned chili yet, but I usually get it at walmart. And I really don't want to go there.
Sad times when farmers are dumping thousands of gallons of milk in the sewer & folks can't find butter in the store....
Calif & Fla are the breadbaskets.. We have plenty of fruit & veggies here.. Prices have gone up some, I guess all the folks out on the tundra are staying home, watching youtubes & learning to cook food that does not come in a box,,,![]()
Alcohol is better on most surfaces anyway. Hydrogen peroxide can easily bleach or otherwise damage a surface.
It was for my 80+ year old neighbor. I have no idea what she was going to use it for.
Epitome of the elite attitude.
If you can't get alcohol, get Vodka. It's typically 40% alcohol. It should be effective and killing germs on surfaces. If she had other plans for the alcohol, at least you can drink it!![]()
One needs at least 70% isopropyl alcohol for sanitizing. 91 & 99 are the best.
40% will do. Even 20% will do.
The amount of water in the alcohol does not affect the ability of alcohol to destroy a virus or bacteria.
Yes it does. Below 70% is a waste of money.
