Oregon LEGALIZES ALL DRUGS even heroin, cocaine, and meth!!

but they aren't CARTELS -dope isnt going to go away, the drug war has a shit ton of "collateral damage"
remove the drug war, and you remove both

Are you by any chance an Afghan Opium Salesman?

I am fairly certain that I dont want an open market here for Afghan opium.

I have not had the pleasure.
we were so spoiled.. Napalese finger hash was the best though

I only did hash once, and I liked it.
weed was crappy full of seeds and stems for the most part. low potency compared to hash
Hash would stay lit in the bowl and you could pass it around -put gold , red and ,black in the same bowl...zonkers

A bowl of ground in a Sharp Stone high quality seedless almost stemless legal weed with a bit of kief sprinkled over the top is a blessing.

very tastey.

a friend of mine was the local dealer. he'd carry dimes and quarter ounce or 2 -when you needed to cop you found out where he was and you knew he was holding. he'd get in kilos and cut them up

One night a bunch of us freaks were crossing the street and plainclothes guys jumped out of a car and grabbed him. then sped away It as so fast I was like "huh"
Anyhow we were tripping if I recall and decided to go down to the cop station and get him out.

So a bunch of freaks walks in and ask the desk sergeant can we get him out..
They had dope all over the wall - like on display with descriptions..
i wondered off and started to bug anyone about how I can get that.

Eventually they tired of us and tossed us out.. but he did do a few months at city jail

That's being stupid. Druggies drive cars and endanger you and your family. And besides, you probably are paying for their healthcare since they are likely on medicaid and everybody can get free healthcare at ERs.

It goes without saying that machinery should never be operated by a drunk or someone on drugs. Not surprised you wouldn't know that, the passing lane scofflaw that you have admitted being.

:palm:

Unfettered access to addictive substances isn't going to help, is it?

Murder is never going to go away...

Rape is never going to go away...

Holy shit you're fucking dumb.

"Unfettered"? Did you bother to read the measure?

Agreed.

And OP was wrong (shocker!). They decriminalized, not legalized.
yes. thing is legalization or decriminalizaton isnt going to change drug use
it does change how we mange and treat it -what we are doing is wrong, denying pain meds to sick people as well

sure
but how you treat them determines the cost to society as well

For the vast majority of people, the "problem" with drugs is that they end up doing jail time for them. Outside of that, drugs do nothing but provide recreation and, occasionally, a mind-altering experience for most.

Yes, some become addicted and it ruins their life. Alcohol is probably 60% responsible for this, however, and we do nothing to limit its availability, so I don't buy this shit from conservatives who say "legalizing drugs will create addicts."

Hey douchebags, alcohol is freely available and alcoholism is the #1 "drug" problem in this country. They're disingenuous fucks who care nothing about people dying from drug problems.

And it saves a fuck-ton of money. Our prison-industrial complex is eating our society alive. It has to be abolished.
