BREAKING: Active shooter situation reported at a high school in Arlington, Texas

I thought of buying a bullet proof backpack for my grands, but after doing research, they are useless against the preferred munitions used by school shooters. :(
 
Police said four people were shot at high school in Arlington, Texas; the shooter fled and is being sought.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — A Dallas-area school district said Wednesday that law enforcement was responding to reports of an “active shooter situation” at a high school.

The Mansfield Independent School District said in a news release that Timberview High School was on lockdown Wednesday morning. The school is in Arlington, which is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Yep! The New Texas Law allows anyone to openly carry a weapon over 18 years of age- IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. Anyone 18 can even buy long guns at any GUN SHOW IN TEXAS- including AR-15's. You can thank the irresponsible Texas governor for that as well!

So this 18 year old LEGALLY carried a gun in his car. He got into a fight with other students or teachers at the school, so he went to his car- returned with his gun and started shooting who ever he wanted.

THE GOVERNOR MADE THIS POSSIBLE BY SIGNING THAT BILL INTO LAW.

This governor needs to be horsewhipped, TAR AND FEATHERED, and thrown in the PISS POOL!

That makes sense but wouldn't enough people notice there was a fight then he went to his car and returned with a gun?

BTW, keeping guns in cars/trucks, even racking them in there, has always been legal there I believe.

I mean for high schoolers.

I'm aging myself saying this but I feel like back in the day people fought, someone won and someone lost, and then life went on. Now these kids get in a fight and they want to go grab a weapon. It's sad.

Yeah me too. I miss the old day when they settle with fists. Or just set a place and time for it.

Well, last week it was two schools and a grocery store, and being Wednesday, guess we’re a couple of shootings behind this week

Become American as apple pie, happens so often people have become desensitized, and the right’s solution; prayers, condolences, and more guns

The Open Carry law is less than a year old. Up till then, it was illegal for anyone to carry handguns in their car without a Hand Gun Permit!

Now any 18 year-old High School Student may carry hand guns in their cars.

I always knew it was just a matter of time for the Shootings to start!
