Texas filed a case saying that Pennsylvania changing election laws in the court system instead of going through its legislature like the Constitution demands disenfranchised Texas votes. John Roberts would not take the case because of standing. I agreed with Texas.

You think Texas should have a say in what PA's legislature does? PA did go through the legislature, Act 77 in 2019, long before the next election. And it got near-unanimous republican support. They loved it before they hated it.

During the Biden administration, US-China relations were worse than they are now. Biden is one of the very few US presidents—actually only two—who were not invited to visit China during their time in office.

I think the mistake most Americans make is assuming that China would try to manipulate US elections, or exert some kind of influence to produce a pro-China president. What people don't understand is that the risks would be extremely high—given the capabilities of US intelligence agencies, it would almost certainly be exposed. And if you back candidate A, you make an enemy of candidate B, and US politics can shift dramatically. Today's loser could become president a few years later—then what do you do? The best choice is simply not to get involved in who becomes US president. That's just common sense. I don't think any observer who understands the real world would believe that China actually influences US elections.
 
Another way to put it is that China is strong enough that it simply doesn't care who becomes US president. And that's really the case, isn't it? Anti-China sentiment is one of the few things that both parties in US politics agree on. China's ability to protect its own national interests ultimately rests on its own economic, military, and technological strengths—isn't that obvious? Instead of investing in efforts to influence US elections—which would never work and bring no real benefit—wouldn't it make more sense to build more warships and invest more in scientific research? Isn't that obvious? Why do you always think the Chinese would do something stupid?
 
Also, Democratic supporters shouldn't take pride in Biden being tougher on China. In fact, from the perspective of many Chinese researchers, the misguided economic policies during the Biden administration are a major reason for many of the difficulties US society faces today. The Biden administration is not one worth looking back on fondly or praising.
 
China recognized Trump as the wrecking ball who would enrich himself while setting the USA and Nato back decades and they were correct. China does not actually like Trump and he is more of an 'enemy of enemy is my friend' type pick.

Russia, Saudi, etc sees Trump similarly but Russia actually does prefer Trump, seeing him as a similar kleptocrat they can make deals with.

Trumps tv disclosure that he claimed proved 'election interference' against, in fact showed none of that but it did show all the 'election interference' against both Hilary and Biden to try and ensure Trump got in.
