I dont think its nothing when a state legislature changes the law so civil charges against a sitting president and then the stupid bitch cant even remember when the supposed rape happened. Maybe its not illegal but its fucking sleazy as hell and it weaponizes the legal system against a political opponent. Its something low life would do...oh wait

Nothing new here that wasn’t known, even the role of the suspected backer has been examined, and last I knew the DOJ wasn’t the President’s personal law firm, if Trump feels there is an illegality here let him open a case, he’s gat an army of attorneys

E Jean Carroll filed her defamation suit in Nov of 2019.
The Adult Survivors Act was passed in May of 2022. After the act passed Carroll filed a second suit for sexual battery and further defamation.
Because the first suit was on appeal as to whether Trump defamed Carroll as a federal employee, the second suit went to trial first.
Carroll only received 2.02 million for the sexual assault. Between the two cases she received 84 million for the defamation.

The jury would have to have found that Trump had sexually assaulted Carroll for the defamation to have occurred since truth is a defense in defamation trials. The passage of the ASA didn't change the facts of the case, it only allowed Carroll to collect damages for the assault as well as the defamation.

Your inability to understand that Trump lost the defamation suits and would have lost them even if he hadn't been sued for sexual battery would indicate you are in a cult.

Any jury and judge who convicts Trump are "libtard juries" and "activist judges". That's how trumptards pretend to care about the law. The law only matters to trumptards when it's a Democrat under investigation.
