Nike, Nike, Nike!

He speaks to me and he has no answer for either.[/QUOTE

Have you ever asked if I had thoughts on police violence or because you can only see if a person is a democrat or republican you automatically dismiss what they have to say because the Democratic Party is your highest power? FFS BAC. You tell me to grow how about use your brain instead of thinking everything is about political parties. You picked the wrong savior.

You just don't get it.

TTQ is absolutely right .. republicans aren't doing a goddamn thing for black entrepreneurial growth nor police brutality and murder.

Yours is the opinion of a bystander, not a participant.

Nike is ONE of the vehicles. :palm:

I don't get it because the Democratic Party is the highest power to you. You dig your own grave

How about we elect republicans to run our $hit hole inner cities, where the democrats have failed miserably.

So thugs don't get shot while acting like, well, thugs

the problem is not the police, there's always going to be rogue incidents, forever.
9 out of the ten last high profile cases where cops are being accused of over reacting the "victim" was doing something he shouldn't have been doing.
And or acting like a thug. Cop tells you to stand down, you stand down. PERIOD

let's stop sugar coating this thing

More really, really stupid.

What did democrats do for the last eight years? Nobody is doing anything. The whole system is out of control. I'm on your side against the abusive police. We have to find a legal way to change the system. Starts with getting rid of immunity for cops and making them get liability insurance instead of the public picking up the tab or we could take the settlement funds out of the union funds. something has to change and blaming sides is not helping. Let's find a solution. It's clear the police are as corrupt as they can get away with. We need a legal path outlined that we can follow. Protesting is part of that process, but we need the laws to change. I wish I had the answers for how we're going to do this. I listed the best ideas I could come up with. If a cop has too many incidents that his insurance has to pay out on, he becomes a risk and they raise his rates. Soon thuggish cops are actually penalized for killing people and eventually they can't afford to be cops anymore and it comes down to statistics they can't fight with a union.

I agree with much of this post .. except democrats are far FAR preferable to republicans .. and the necessary legislation that is requied is FAR more likely to come from democrats.

You're a liar. You saw the post.

You see it now .. still no reply because it demonstrates that your rants are completely ignorant of facts .. and still no posts from you admonishing republicans on this issue.

What is sad is that you think you matter on this. You don't. Np doubt that you aren't doing any fucking thing about this issue but whining about it.

C'ya later genius.

Be mad, get angry, and cry. :0)

My reply to that was in the post you just quoted, proving you have no intention of actually reading and understanding what I have to say. No surprise. You're right goddamn it, and everyone that disagrees with you on anything is automatically on the other team in your mind. Typical partisan hackery.

The irony here is when it comes to the actual issues, you might find we agree on quite a bit. My position here is just against the corporatization and monetization of a legitimate movement. A movement I support....or, did, before it became more about increasing profit for rich pigs than saving human lives. Corporate "activism" only creates winners out of the wealthy. Please understand this. For the record, this...this right here is why I laugh off the idea Democrats are any sort of real leftists. Your nominee for 2016 was the former board director of Walmart and your "movement" is sponsored by Nike. Give me a fucking break. You're just as much part of the capitalist plutocratic power structure as the Republicans. You say Democrats are "far preferable" to Republicans, yet every day your party looks more and more like them.

Glad someone else see this. People often have a lot more in common than they think and this line in the sand that you're a Republican and I'm a democrat and thus we must be oppose each other gets people nowhere.

Question: Shouldn't you be applauding socially-conscious corporations?

At what point do you address Nike and it's commitment and participation in African-American communities?

Are you aware that the Republican Party is being led by a known racist???

What the Hell are you talking about?

Socially-conscious corporations are an illusion created by carefully crafted marketing techniques. They want you to identify their brand with your movement. It makes them more money.

So making money is your problem?

We should associate ourselves with broke and powerless companies.

What exactly are you doing about this issue?

I'm talking about there is a lot in the world that exists outside of the republican and Democratic Party

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS BEING LED BY A KNOWN RACIST.

Not sure what world you live in, but anyone who supports a fucking racist and/or a racist political party should not expect the welcome mat from people who hate racists and racism.

How does that escape you?

SMH. You are making this Nike ad as the end of the Republican Party. Everything in the world has to do with politics? Do you only do business, eat with, talk to democrats in your life? Is your doctor, dentist, mechanic all democrats? I'm just trying to understand how far all this goes.

What the hell is wrong with you?

You expect what exactly from people who hate racism?
