What's political about staying clean, healthy and caring for others?
Dutch has a good point about a video about brushing your teeth. Is that political?
Oops, I copied off you. lol

Them. Bobbie would definitely benefit from the education. AHZ too.Which, their kids -- or them?
"Today's Insurrection is brought to you by the letter 'T'!"
If there were statistical information that showed that brushing your teeth could sometimes kill you and that tended to show that if you were young enough you had a better chance of that death than of clean teeth through brushing. Then you had one political party promoting teeth brushing with religious fever and the other saying, "Brush if you want, or not if you want" then yes, absolutely. A show telling folks that one side of the controversy was right and the other wrong would be political indoctrination. Pretending that because the indoctrination agrees with your side it isn't controversial or indoctrination is just pretense.

What a sad commentary this is then, that some people see getting vaccinated against harmful diseases as "political." You guys gonna cry about MMR, tetanus, polio, measles vaccines too? If Big Bird brushes his beak to teach oral hygiene, are you guys going to swoon over *that*?
A puppet showing a child that vaccines are good for us is not political, except in the diseased minds of the Cult of the Malignant Mango.
Ever heard of fluoride?

Ever had the capacity to understand a hypothetical? The difference is in the political controversy, which is why I had to make up hypothetical data... Which side promotes not brushing their teeth? Brushing your teeth was not controversial because there is no political party that objects to teaching kids to brush.
(There is one family on wife swap that promoted using butter and clay instead of toothpaste, but not to ignore the practice whatsoever and they are certainly not among a major political party segment of our population).
Yes, I believe that some of the top leaders of this nation, if they believed it would give them more power (especially any unlimited emergency power that ignores constitutional restrictions), would most definitely lie about a vaccine.Murphy's Laws of Combat Anything can get you killed, including doing nothing.
Do you really believe the top leaders of our nation, both public and private, would endanger themselves and their families with a lie about vaccines?
One side promotes that it should not be suggested that kids be vaccinated, despite their own families being vaccinated. Do you see the cognitive dissonance?
Rubbish, one side suggests that we should not mandate it and that we should never try to use government paid for propaganda to try to promote one specific side of a politically controversial subject. If we let the people in majority power make these decisions to indoctrinate children on their political agenda imagine what Big Bird might teach your kids once Biden is gone.
Lemme see. First it was Dr. Seuss, then Mr. PotatoHead, then red meat, then the caravan, then the vaccine.
So now it's Big Bird?
The RepubliQans have lost their fucking minds. I don't know if I can ever vote Republican again with all the fucking RepubliQan morons in Congress.

How would it even work on kids? It's ultimately parents' decision, is it not? Remember Ted said they're five year old kids?
And do you have proof that the government paid for it?
BTW, this is not about the mandates.
Hmm. Is Sesame Street no longer a PBS production? It's been a long time since I have seen it. If it isn't, then all this is useless nonsense. AT&T (they own HBO) can project whatever political view they want. It would still be propaganda, just not a government propaganda anymore.
Some? Sure. Assholes exist. All? If so, then we are truly, royally fucked.Yes, I believe that some of the top leaders of this nation, if they believed it would give them more power (especially any unlimited emergency power that ignores constitutional restrictions), would most definitely lie about a vaccine.
Do I think they are at this time? No. Do I think we should be careful to make sure they don't? Yes.
Again, for the folks with memory holes like Biden... I believe in vaccines, I was part of the test groups and got mine long ago before it was a political tool and I recommend folks get a vaccination themselves. I do not, however, believe that we should force folks to get a vaccine. Whether it be for flu or for this disease, folks need to make their own healthcare choices.
