It actually isn't. The number of people injured in school shootings is incredibly tiny, compared to the number of people injured due to all causes or even the number of people injured by criminal activity.

There are currently some 70,000 students registered for school in Dallas. Only 4 were injured by gunfire at school...in Texas!

Nothing new here. Kids have done that since there have been guns and other weapons. In the United States, it's been around since there has been a United States.

It's a bigger problem now because of mental cases suffering withdrawal from psychoquack drugs. This withdrawal tends to suicidal and homicidal behavior.

School shootings in the United States has occurred as long as there has been a United States. Who are you to say people are becoming 'desensitized'? You don't to speak for anyone but yourself. You want to talk being callous to such events? You. To you these kids are nothing but a pawn to use in your effort to get guns banned or limited.

Attempted murder is already illegal in Texas. I hope they catch this jerk and punish him to the full extent of the law.

BTW, ever notice how this keeps happening in 'gun free zones', such as schools? Doesn't happen so much at, say, a gun range.

You're right, vols. Black teens from Chicago rarely have the opportunity to shoot kids in Arlington, Texas.

The elevated rapid transit doesn't reach out quite that far.

I've always advocated for high speed rail, but it's just not happening to this point.

School shootings, yes, the frequency of school shootings no, those numbers have escalated considerably even since the beginning of the 21st Century (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_school_shootings_in_the_United_States). What used to occur every other month now occurs numerous times in one month.

Americans are becoming desensitized, at one time just a gun found in a school would draw attention, now, unless it is gruesome and the numbers high, most incidents are barely noticed. Need proof, there were two last week and guarantee without googling it you couldn't even tell us where they occurred

And dead kids in a school doesn't have to be used by anyone as a pawn for anything, it is horrific on its own, and when the cause is guns, it is even more of a tragedy considering little is being done to prevent it, Sandy Hook proves that, four and five year old's mascaraed by semi automatic weapons and to date, thanks largely to gun huggers with selfish motives, little has been done to prevent the next tragedy
